I watched it growing up, but I never thought I would aspire to wrestle. So 5:58 she was just like, okay, well I got this person, He's a Hall of Famer, connected us, came and watched me train, and I went to a tryout. And the rest was history. Wow. All 6:07 right. What position did you play? So my first 3 years of college I played a combo guard and then my last year because we played 4 out, I was a 4 so if you stepped to 6:23 me I wouldn't pass you a score and if you didn't step to me I shot it. For a lot of people, it's called the indies. So you're out there, some people 7:20 wrestle for nothing, hitting nails, hitting cars, like you just said, for nothing, at high school gyms, all kind of crazy stuff. But that's the love for the game 7:29 that they have for it. And that's how the majority of people start. Then they get recognized through social media today. And then you come to a tryout, they 7:37 deem that they like you. Then you come to NXT, you go through NXT, the developmental stage, and then you're on the main roster. It's 7:45 a whole process. So you never did developmental? My developmental was more so the opposing company. So I started on TV from 7:53 day 1. I was actually against our champion now, Cody Rhodes, and I was teaming up with Shaquille O'Neal. So that was my first match ever on TV. 8:02 It was insane. What year is that? 2000. Does anybody, can anybody pull that up? 2022? It 8:10 was pandemic when it was like at the end. 2020. 2020? Was it really? You started out. 2021. Start out over there at 2020. Okay, 2020. I had 1 practice match and I was a good guy and then they told me, okay, you're gonna be a bad guy and you're gonna go out 8:34 there with Shaquille O'Neal. I was like, okay, on national TV and just did it. It's kind of insane. And nobody gets, a lot of people don't, I probably like 123 8:43 people get something like that to start off with. Something on that side didn't transcend so we couldn't wrestle. But I really was looking forward to that because he was talking about a smack. 10:38 Not bad, I ran from that phase. What's the conditioning like for 13:26 wrestling versus basketball? I don't think I can compare it to really. It's weird. I 13:34 would say it's more strength and strength in wrestling, but like cardio because it's not 13:43 just the wrestling that you have to think of like your endurance for the whole match and like firing up and screaming. That takes a lot 13:51 out of you. And if you don't want to do that so early in the match and you still have 20 minutes left in your match and you got to pick people up and throw them and 13:59 communicate and it's so much, and it's unexpected, I guess, in basketball, but the same in wrestling. I don't know how to compare it 14:07 to it. I've never been asked that question because I do the same thing. I think collegiate sports prepare you for anything in life. I really feel like because I was 14:15 a collegiate athlete, I can do damn near anything that I put my mind to.
